Teachable Replacement Package

The GrindMaster® Teachable Replacement Package eliminates the Teachable control boards and display unit. To ensure replacement parts will be available in the future, the GrindMaster® uses a standard PC with touch screen and a readily available Control Techniques® motion controller.

• Cost

  Typical grinder control retrofits cost more than $90,000 because they must replace most of the existing control. Teachable Replacement Package keeps cost down because it only replaces the Teachable control boards and display unit.

• Downtime

  Control retrofits generally put machines out of service for weeks. The GrindMaster® Teachable Replacement Package installs quickly because it mates directly mate with the remaining electrical system. Installation time is three days or less.

• Training

  The Teachable operating screens support many grinding features. This can be confusing to operators who use only a fraction of these features. The operating screens of your GrindMaster® are custom configured to your meet needs, making it easy for your current and future operators to learn.

The Servo Conversion Package replaces the obsolete DC motors and drives. Replacing the obsolete motors requires an AC servomotor with the proper specifications, the appropriate coupling and a custom adaptor.
